5. Cash on Delivery (COD)

NovaKart offers Cash on Delivery (COD) on all eligible products and supported serviceable locations within India.

Customers choosing COD must ensure that the recipient is available at the delivery address and prepared to complete payment at the time of delivery.

NovaKart reserves the right to modify, restrict, or discontinue COD services for specific products, locations, or circumstances when necessary.

10. Failed Delivery Attempts

If a customer is unavailable to receive a package, courier partners may attempt delivery multiple times.

In most cases, courier companies may make 2–3 delivery attempts before returning the package to the sender.

If a shipment is returned due to repeated failed delivery attempts, refusal to accept delivery, or inability to contact the recipient, additional charges or restrictions may apply depending on the circumstances.


11. Damaged Packages

Customers are encouraged to inspect packages upon delivery.

If a package appears damaged, tampered with, opened, or otherwise compromised, customers should document the condition of the package and contact NovaKart immediately.

Any reports regarding damaged packages should be submitted within 36 hours of delivery to ensure timely investigation and resolution.

NovaKart may request photographs, videos, packaging evidence, or other supporting information during the review process.

12. Lost Shipments

In rare situations where a shipment is confirmed as lost during transit, NovaKart will investigate the matter in coordination with the logistics provider.

If a shipment is officially confirmed lost, NovaKart will provide an appropriate resolution, which may include replacement, refund, store credit, or another suitable remedy depending on the circumstances.

Investigation timelines may vary based on courier procedures and shipping records.

13. Partial Shipments

In certain situations, products from the same order may be shipped separately.

Customers will not be charged additional shipping fees for approved partial shipments.
